Lynne Anne Anderson

BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:

LYNNE ANNE ANDERSON is a Member of Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross P.C. and focuses her practice on employment law.  Ms. Anderson has significant experience in employment litigation in various state and federal courts, including jury trials.  She has also handled claims before administrative agencies, including the EEOC, state human rights agencies as well as NASD and NYSE securities’ industry arbitrations.  She has also litigated restrictive covenant disputes in various states.  Ms. Anderson regularly counsels the Firm’s clients on various employment issues.  She conducts training programs on prevention of workplace harassment and discrimination, how to conduct investigations, hiring protocols, performance management as well as compliance with the FMLA, ADA and other relevant employment laws.  Ms. Anderson also has significant experience with implementing reductions in force, as well as due diligence and other employment issues relating to mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring. 

Ms. Anderson regularly writes and speaks on various employment issues.  She has been quoted in articles and columns addressing issues of workplace harassment appearing in the New Jersey Law Journal and New York Lawyer.  As a featured guest speaker on the National Public Radio program, “The Ron Thomas Small Business Forum,” Ms. Anderson addressed employment law issues from the management perspective.

Ms. Anderson has an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.  She was selected for inclusion in the 2007 edition of The Best Lawyers in America and the 2005 and 2006 editions of New Jersey Super Lawyers.  She was also listed as one of “The Top 50 New Jersey Female Super Lawyers” in 2006.  Among other memberships, Ms. Anderson is a member of the American Employment Law Council.

Ms. Anderson currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, including as Co-Director of Public Policy.  Ms. Anderson also is the Co-Chair for the Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross Women’s Group, and former Co-Chair of the Firm’s Professional Relations Committee.
