Commercial Damages / Cost Benefit Assessment of Litigation Dispute

Presented by NJWLA’s Solo/Small Firm Committee

6-8 pm

2 hours of CLE

Today, attorneys are faced with more and more cases where clients are asserting that they suffered damages and want their day in court.  However, in many cases, negotiating a settlement is more financially feasible than going to trial.  This seminar is designed to help you identify the acceptable commercial damage methods and to better understand the concepts of reliability, certainty, and foreseeability. It will also address how experts approach mitigation in damage claims.
