Deputy Attorney General 4 DCF North & Essex Sections

SALARY: $63,808.95 to $92,521.59

NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE: TBD. Please indicate location preference in cover letter.

DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Section Chief and the Assistant Attorneys General for the DCF Practice Group, provides representation to the Department of Children and Families in cases involving child abuse and neglect and termination of parental rights.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor. Admission to practice as an Attorney at Law in the State of New Jersey is required.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience as a practicing attorney.

LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
