Westcor Land Title Insurance Company Presents a Continuing Legal Education Seminar

This seminar will examine and define the Ethical Standards demanded of a Title Settlement Provider operating in the State of New Jersey. It will explore the expanded compliance issues presented by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which require Title Producers and Attorneys acting as Settlement Service Providers to develop written Policies & Procedures that will insure the safety of the consumer and the integrity of trust & escrow funds.  Discussion of various State & Federal Enforcement Actions will expose the attendees to the variety of consequences that can result from unethical behavior.

New Jersey Attorneys:

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 3 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 3 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism, and zero qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial law, criminal trial law, workers compensation law and/or matrimonial law.
