Glass Ceiling Program at NJSBA Annual Meeting 2007 Includes United States EEOC Chairwoman Naomi Earp
WHEN: Thursday, May 18
TIME:
10 a.m. to noon
The Glass Ceiling Has Finally Been Broken!
(Or Has It?)

This seminar will focus on the issues surrounding pay disparities and equal employment opportunities for women and racial minorities to determine whether or not the "glass ceiling" still exists. Employers of all kinds increasingly face a more diverse workforce that includes more women and people of color, so the question of pay disparity and equality of employment opportunity for women and minorities persists. What can the federal and state government do to address equal pay and opportunities for advancement for women and minorities? What are the ethical challenges to the private bar when investigating or litigating equal pay issues or when participating in an investigation by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights? What cutting-edge tips can the top governmental agency heads and employment law experts provide to today's employees and employers? This panel will include the top United States and New Jersey equal employment opportunity governmental officials, including the Chairwoman of the U.S. E.E.O.C., as well as several of the premier plaintiff and defense employment law litigators in New Jersey.
