arrowAn Exciting Opportunity for Law Firms and Leaders in New Jersey - A chance to help stem the Exodus of Women. There is an exciting new initiative planned by the New Jersey Council on Gender Parity in Labor and Education. It is launching a study on the advancement and retention of women in the legal profession. This New Jersey-specific study will identify current and potential inequities, and recommend practical solutions to assist law firms in addressing and overcoming them. The Council needs New Jersey Law Firms to step forward and fill the financial gap at a time when funds are short in state government and the status of women in the law is critical to economic growth and the health of all law firms. Funding and sponsorships from Law Firms will ensure that the Council can formulate and perpetuate a model that lawyers all over the country will adopt. They will look to New Jersey for having taken the lead in advancing the role of women in the law. Not only is it the right thing to do, but it is a business imperative.
