Associate Attorney

Frier Levitt, LLC, a growing national boutique Healthcare and Life Sciences Law Firm with offices in Morris County, NJ and New York City seeks an experienced full-time Attorney to work in our Litigation department in our Pine Brook, NJ office.

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for:

  • Handling a diverse docket of litigation matters (state and federal) dealing mostly with
  • Healthcare, Commercial and Personal Injury Litigation.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing detailed memorandum
  • Assisting in the preparation of discovery responses and discovery demands
  • Assisting in the representation of clients in depositions, before state licensing Boards, and
  • Hospital hearings
  • Coordinating with clients and experts
  • Preparing for and conducting/ defending depositions
  • Making appearances to argue motions, attend conferences, participate in mediation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree, with great academic credentials;
  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey State and Federal Courts in good standing
  • Licensing in other states a plus but not required.
  • 3+ years of experience in practicing law and experience with Law Firm culture
  • Familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations
  • Superior research and writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
