With medical cannabis legalized and adult-use cannabis soon to be legalized in New Jersey, there is a green rush of interest with all eyes on the Garden State. In order to understand how we got here, this panel will provide the overview of the medical cannabis program and the “vote yes” initiative for adult-use. The program will also focus on the next steps for the legislative bills and the yet to be formed Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC). The evolving legal cannabis industry also brings many opportunities from licensing to ancillary markets to hemp. As this industry takes shape, the program will also highlight the social justice and criminal reform.
