The Deputy Director will serve as lead counsel for the Fund’s legal department, reporting directly to the Director & Counsel. This vital role is suited for attorneys with excellent administrative, analytical, and litigation skills—particularly those with substantive experience in motion practice. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of law office management, as this position supervises a staff of 5, which includes 2 attorneys.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as lead counsel in Fund Litigation;
- Appearing in all State Courts and in Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey;
- Overseeing a team of professional staff and managing litigation matters;
- Making presentations to judges, the Bar, and community stakeholders.
