Lowenstein Sandler’s Insurance Recovery Group is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join the team in our Roseland, NJ or New York City office. This position will entail representing policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes, focusing on environmental, construction defect, mass tort, product liability, cyber, Reps and Warranty, Directors and Officers and Professional Liability claims. Responsibilities will include analyzing insurance policies, assessing available insurance coverage, identifying sources of recovery to avoid potential exclusions and forfeitures of coverage, making initial tenders of claims, negotiating with claims handlers and insurers’ counsel, preparing pleadings, discovery requests and motion papers. Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently is a must. Candidates should have at least 3 – 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience, with prior coverage experience. The expected salary range for candidates in class years 2022 through 2020 is $260,000 to $365,000. The range provided is the salary that Lowenstein Sandler in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and location.
