On this International Women’s Day, NJWLA sees 126 women elected to Congress and Women taking leading roles and honors at the Oscars, but in law firms and corporate America, we are still lagging behind in salaries and positions of power.  Law 360’s headline today was “Firms’ Crawl To Gender Diversity Shows Long Road Ahead”, and the fact that California has adopted
legislation, and New Jersey is entertaining a bill mandating, requiring a
certain percentage of women on boards, reminds us that there is still work
to be done.
