NJWLA Members Jennifer Borek and Randi W. Kochman Giving Back – Partners for Women and Justice

Jennifer Borek

Randi W. Kochman

As October is National Domestic Violence Awareness month, the service of NJWLA Board Member, Jennifer Borek, and NJWLA Past President, Randi W. Kochman, as trustees for Partners for Women and Justice is ever more poignant.  Partners is a non-profit organization that provides free legal help to low-income victims of domestic violence.  Jenn has been involved with Partners since 2014.  Randi first met Jane Hanson, the founder and former Executive President of Partners, in 2014 when Jane was the honoree at the NJWLA’s 7th Annual WILL Platinum Gala.  Every year, Partners helps hundreds of victims and their children, and advocates for changes to policies and laws to better support tens of thousands of domestic violence survivors.  We have all heard that the pandemic has only exacerbated already difficult and dangerous circumstances.  This year, to raise awareness about domestic violence and to support Partners’ mission, Randi and Jenn are participating in Partners’ Break the Cycle of Domestic Violence 5K Virtual Walk on October 10.
