Rutgers Office of General Counsel Job Openings

One is for an Associate General Counsel whose primary focus will be overseeing and supervising the defense of the university and its employees in litigation and providing advice, counsel, and representation on a broad array of issues and matters facing the university. This position requires at least seven years of relevant experience of increasing responsibility, with significant knowledge and experience in employment litigation and general litigation, in both state and federal court.

The other position is for an Assistant General Counsel whose primary focus will be providing advice, counsel, and representation in labor and employment matters. This position requires at least three years of relevant experience of increasing responsibility, with significant knowledge and experience in labor law and general employment law advice and counseling, including related union contract interpretation and disciplinary arbitration and administrative proceedings.
